Refund Policy

1. General Policy

PlsConfess, operated by Louis Hubert Cottineau, provides an instant digital service. Payments are processed by a trusted Merchant of Record (MoR) such as Paddle.com, ensuring secure transactions and consumer protection.

2. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

In accordance with consumer protection laws in the European Union and other jurisdictions, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase and request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date, without providing any justification.

2.1 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To request a refund within the 14-day period, contact us at [email protected] with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date and amount of the transaction
  • Your payment receipt
  • A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase

2.2 Important Notes

  • This right applies to web purchases processed through our Merchant of Record (such as Paddle)
  • The 14-day period starts from the date of purchase
  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days after receiving your withdrawal request
  • For purchases made through mobile app stores (App Store, Google Play), their respective refund policies apply

3. Premium Subscription

3.1 No Refunds for Current Period (After 14 Days)

After the 14-day withdrawal period has passed, the Premium subscription is considered as a digital service that has been activated and used. No refunds are granted for the current subscription period beyond the 14-day withdrawal period.

3.2 Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through your app store (App Store / Google Play).

Important: Cancellation prevents automatic renewal but does not refund the current period. You will retain Premium access until the end of the paid period.

3.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (weekly). Make sure to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged again.

4. Exceptions - Additional Refund Cases

Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds may be granted only in the following exceptional cases:

4.1 Incorrect Billing

If you have been charged in error, charged twice for the same service, or charged after canceling your subscription, we will process a full refund.

4.2 Major Technical Issues

If the service is completely unusable due to a technical problem on our end and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, a prorated refund may be granted.

  • The date and amount of the transaction
  • A detailed description of the issue

5. Payment Platform

5.1 Payments via Web

Payments made on our website are securely processed by a trusted Merchant of Record (such as Paddle.com or similar services), which handles all payment processing, tax collection, and compliance with consumer protection laws.

5.2 Payments via Mobile App Stores

If you made the purchase through Apple's App Store or Google Play, these platforms have their own refund policies. You can contact them directly:

6. Processing Time

Exception refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed within 5 to 10 business days.

If approved, the refund will be credited to your original payment method within 5 to 14 business days depending on your bank.

7. Cases Where No Refund Is Granted

  • Change of mind after the 14-day withdrawal period
  • Non-use of the service during the subscription period
  • Account suspension or deletion for Terms of Service violation
  • Refund request after the subscription period has ended
